I have returned to seeing clients and supervisees face to face. The premises in which I work has been made as safe as possible and there are frequent measures in place to maintain a high level of hygiene with regard to COVID. For those who prefer their sessions online, we can do so until such time they want to travel in to the City.

I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist and supervisor offering a safe and quiet place to talk in the City of London.

I have experience of working with adults in long term and short term psychotherapy. I have a long background in education and working with families where mental health is an issue. I have experience within the NHS where I worked with a wide range of people with diverse problems, including autism, ADHD and other neurodiversities, ante and post-natal depression and anxiety, addictions, bereavement and the effects of abuse and trauma.

I trained at WPF Therapy, London, one of the leading institutions for academic and clinical training in psychotherapy in the UK.  I hold an MA in psychodynamic psychotherapy. I have further training in EMDR and have also studied various aspects of psychodynamic psychotherapy, particularly psychotherapy with clients experiencing difficulties in the perinatal period, clients in the criminal justice system and clients who have been traumatised by single and/or ongoing events in the past.

In addition to seeing clients at WPF Therapy for several years, I have been a counsellor in an NHS GP surgery in South London and a London prison.  I have worked at the South London and Maudsley Trust in the perinatal service for women and infants. I am on the staff at WPF Therapy teaching on issues of diversity and I also supervise there.

I am a registered member of the UKCP ( United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy), the FPC (Foundation for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and a member of the BPC (British Psychoanalytic Council). I adhere to the professional code of ethics set out by these bodies.
